First Sakura of 2025 in Atami 🌸

About 2.5 hours from Tokyo, Atami was the first place where I experienced cherry blossoms this year.

Aside from its peaceful beaches and ferry tours, Atami is also known for its fireworks festivals and delicious seafood street food. It’s a charming coastal town with a lot to offer.

I left early in the morning to avoid the crowds and have more space to take sakura photos in a relaxed way. While walking around, I also enjoyed doing some street photography. Atami has many beautiful storefronts and eye-catching vending machines that make for great photo subjects.

I also brought my Ricoh XF-30D film camera along for the trip. You can check out the film shots here.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the photos!

One Roll Trip - Atami Winter 2025 with Ricoh XF-30D
Sale Price: $1.00 Original Price: $1.50

It took around 2.5 hours by train from Tokyo, I went to Atami to enjoy the Sakura scenery. In this area, the Sakura season is earlier than in other places around Kanto. It was so beautiful I couldn’t help but take pictures as many as possible. I brought 3 cameras that day. One of them was a point-and-shoot film camera, Ricoh XF-30D. This old camera is not legit anymore, but I love the imperfect result that made a perfect feeling for me. I hope you can enjoy this one-roll trip.
