Found the Toad I’ve Been Looking For – In a Claw Machine!

After several visits to a store that used to sell The Toad figure I wanted — only to find it was no longer available — I finally spotted something similar in Akihabara. This time, it wasn’t just a figure with a full body, but also a special version that only features the head. And honestly, that’s exactly what I’ve been searching for!

I found it in a claw machine on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Akihabara. There were three types of Toad prizes available: the full-body figure like the one I already own, and two head-only versions — one red and one green.

Each play costs ¥100. I tried with ¥500 at first and was lucky enough to win both the Ghost and Red Toad heads. I was thrilled and really wanted to complete the set with the Green one. Unfortunately, after spending another ¥500, I didn’t manage to win anything else.
