Nostalgic Vibrant Ricoh Recipe v1

I’m currently experimenting with a new recipe for the Ricoh GR III. With the Autumn Recipe, I found that the Positive Film effect works well when shooting in good lighting conditions. As the name suggests, the Autumn Recipe is ideal when combining bright sunlight with vibrant, colorful trees. However, for street photography, it doesn’t seem to perform at its best.

Yesterday, I took a few shots in Kawagoe. The results were great under bright sunlight, but when the lighting was dim, the images appeared more bluish. Below are the settings I used.

  • Effect: Positive Film

  • Saturation: +3

  • Hue: -2

  • High/Low Key: -1

  • Contrast: -1

  • Contrast (Highlight): 0

  • Contrast (Shadow): +1

  • Sharpness: -1

  • Shading: 0

  • Clarity: -2

  • Highlight Correction: On

  • Shadow Correction: Medium

  • Peripheral Illumin. Corr.: On

  • Noise Reduction: Low

  • White Balance: Daylight

  • WB Compensation A/B: +2 A (Amber)

  • WB Compensation G/M: +1 G (Green)

And these are the result.
