I’m happy to be back creating this digital zine again.
This project has always been a quiet way for me to share the side of Japan that often goes unnoticed — the small streets, the fading colors, the everyday moments that feel personal.
This time, I found myself wandering through Horikiri, a calm neighborhood in Tokyo, tucked away in Katsushika Ward. It’s not a place people usually visit for sightseeing, but that’s exactly why I was drawn to it. The streets feel slower, more lived-in, and full of subtle stories.
As I walked, I realized how much I’ve fallen in love with photographing places without tall buildings. Nothing blocks the sky, and the sunlight flows freely — reflecting on walls, passing through fabric, touching everything softly. In moments like this, the light in Japan feels especially beautiful, almost nostalgic.
Thank you for being here and experiencing these glimpses with me.
