Monthly Dose of Japan May 2025
May was a special month—I spent 7 days exploring the Kansai region, visiting Kyoto, Osaka, Kinosaki, and Okayama.
While I didn’t take photos in Osaka, I captured a lot in Kinosaki. This quiet onsen town, with its charming old buildings and countryside atmosphere, truly feels like the heart of rural Japan. Even though I was there for work as a guide, I found myself walking through the main streets instead of taking the bus, just to soak in the nostalgic scenery. One day, I hope to return—not for work, but simply as a guest who can fully enjoy everything Kinosaki has to offer.
Thank you for supporting me by purchasing this zine. I hope you enjoy seeing Japan through my lens.
